Charging for Payroll Services

Hi Everyone

 

I wonder if anyone can give me some advise on how much to charge for Payroll services as I normall incorporate this with general bookeeping.

I have the opportunity to mange a couple of payrolls via access to clients software.  However, I have no idea what to charge for setting up Xero and running a monthly payroll. Are re-runs, new starters, amendments charged seperately?

Also, I need to prepare and submit P11D's  for this year for the client as there previous bookkeeper is reitirng without notice.  As anyone provided this as a standalone service?

If anyone has any advice they can offer, I would appreicate it.

You can have a look at my website https://lydianledgers.co.uk  on the pricing page there's a form for calulating monthly fees but there's also a breakdown of how the charges are calculated at the bottom of that page

How did you make the pricing page ? It is really good that you put number of employyes according to pay period and calculates the charges.

I would be interested to know about it if possible please.

 No problem at all Suzanne.  Check out Low Cost Professional Payroll Services | UK Wide | No Fuss Payroll too, Samantha puts her prices online for anyone to see, done in bands by employee count.  I'm not sure why most people are so cagey about it!

 It's just a form I made on JotForm and embedded in the site.  You can set up calulations based on rules/conditions etc.  Takes a bit of figuring out but not too difficult once you get your head around it
