Hi All, new to using the forum. I am just starting out in my own practice and have been asked by a potential client if I can help him. He is going through a divorce and his solicitor wants to know how much CGT he will pay on a piece of land he was gifted by his father 15 years ago. It is now worth between £65 -£70K.
Would it be what his father thought the land was worth back when he gifted it, that I need to use in the calculation?
