Understanding what happens at year-end including year-end reconciliations
This will include checks and balances on travel and entertaining treatment
Giving you the confidence to take the Level 4 examination in FRS105
Systems and checklists
We will be looking at how checklists can help us run a successful bookkeeping practice and keep control of our workflow.
We will share examples of Checklists we use in our own practices for a variety of tasks such as:
Starting a Bookkeeping Practice – Licences, Registrations, Rules & Regulations
So you’ve passed your exams and are now looking forward to starting your professional bookkeeping career. We aim to help you navigate your way through the maze of rules and regulations to get you up and running. What insurances do you need? Which organisations do you need to register with? How do you maintain your professional certified status with the ICB?
This topic will also act as a reminder for established practices to help you ensure you remain compliant.
There will also be a question and answers session with a panel of ICB Fellows on hand to have their brains picked. Please come along ready to submit those burning questions on arrival.
