Join us for our first Branch Meeting of 2021 where we will be joined by Timm Buss, General VAT Specialist and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, who will give us the most recent updates on Brexit VAT.
Tim will cover:
Tim has a very strong VAT background, he has worked as a VAT inspector, classroom trainer, and VAT consultant. He has been involved with VAT since the 1970’s and joined HM Customs & Excise shortly after the introduction of VAT in the UK He left HM Customs & Excise in 1989 and joined accountants PKF as a VAT Consultant responsible for all aspects of VAT and was appointed director of VAT in 1998.
In October 2005, he left PKF to set up his own VAT consultancy and training company. In addition to presenting various training courses, he is a consultant to several accountancy firms and other businesses.
Tim regularly writes and lectures on a range of VAT topics and was a Council member for three years was Director of Education at the Institute of Indirect Taxation where he was responsible for the entrance examination.
