ICB Level 4 – Supercharge Your Earning Potential
Hosted by ICB’s CEO Ami Copeland and ICB’s Director of Learning, Peter Stewart, this webinar will look at the advantages of adding ICB’s Level 4 Diploma in Bookkeeping and Accounting to your portfolio. Following a brief introduction to IDEAL Schools, we will look at the different elements included in this qualification under the guidance of our Level 4 tutor and ICB Advisory Council Member, Caryl Gibson. IDEAL Schools Director, Brian McVean will explain how this particular qualification can enable bookkeepers to become a ‘one-stop shop’ for clients thereby maximising retained earnings and why IDEAL Schools are the best choice training provider for this course. IDEAL Schools student and LUCA award winner, Clare Kendall will talk about her experience of studying with IDEAL Schools and how elements of the Level 4 qualification have helped her to grow her practice.
Speakers:
Caryl Gibson B.A.(Hons) FICB ACM. Double Luca award-winning chair of Devon Branch, Fellow and Advisory Council member, Caryl opened her own practice in 2017 following several years of employment in the financial services sector. She chose to study ICB Level 4 with IDEAL Schools, was honoured to be asked to become a taxation tutor in 2022 and since that time Caryl has helped our students to successfully gain the qualifications.
Brian McVean, Director at IDEAL Schools, took his first steps in the bookkeeping & accounting industry when he joined IDEAL Schools in 1991. The college was keen to invest in Brian’s future and several qualifications were gained in Computer Science, Business Management and, most significantly, Accounting & Finance. His own, sometimes poorly supported, study experiences developed his commitment to providing first-class tutoring services. He and his team now provide high-quality, personalised tutoring and administrative support to the thousands of home study students who choose IDEAL as their preferred training provider. Significant professional achievements include the award of ICB Tutor of the Year in 2013 and, more recently, the award of Companionship from ICB, in recognition of Brian's contribution to the bookkeeping industry. 32 years on, Brian remains passionate about helping to enhance the career prospects of every student who studies with IDEAL Schools.
Clare Kendall MICB, winner of Small Practice of the Year 2022 LUCA Award has worked as a sole trader in CLK Books since 2020. She is also the ICB Branch Co-Chair for Lincolnshire. Clare is currently studying the level 4 modules with IDEAL Schools.
