22 November 2023 saw the Chancellor of the Exchequer present his Autumn Statement. This is important for payroll professionals as we have now many of the key rates and thresholds that apply from the start of the next tax year.
On 06 December 2023 ICB’s Wages Wednesday will largely be devoted to the announcements in the Statement – what the announcements mean, where they apply and what bookkeepers need to do to prepare.
