In our last Wages Wednesday of 2024, it is obvious that we are fast-approaching the end of the current tax year. Already we are aware of some important changes you will have to effect in payroll systems, processes and procedures, so, the focus will be on these things. This will allow us to, almost, ‘clear the decks’ ahead of more announcements to come in 2025.
Remember that ICB will be preparing its usual collection of documents to enable you to start the tax year (rates and allowances, benefits and expenses information etc). So, as we approach tax year 2025/26, we will make you aware of these as and when they are complete and available.
