Hi
I have my Level ii Manual exam tomorrow and am panicking big time! Does anyone know the pass mark that is required? And also have any top tips for getting through it...anything tricky / sneaky I need to learn?
Cheers, Jo

Hi Jo
The B1 Paper was 85% so I suspect the same for B2 and B3 in Level 2.
Good luck tomorrow. I passed B1 last week and hoping to sit B2 and B3 next week.
Tip would be to keep track of the time. It goes so quickly and there isn't a completion bar on the screen which I thought would be there as a visual.
All the best!
Claire :-)

Hi Jo,
Just in case you are sitting the 'old' styled Level II that is centre based, the pass mark is 70%.
Good luck and, when you pass, please share your news as encouragement to others
Kind regards

Thank you Claire! And Brian...now you have me even more worried. I am sitting at at a centre, and I am studying through Idel Schools but I was under the impression that it would be like the online mock rather tham the paper based exams? Which is how I've been focussing my revision....??

Hi Jo
When I took my Level II (old style) it was exactly like the online mock so not sure if the new style is different.
DONT PANIC!!! if you have done all your studies and passed your mocks then tell yourself you CAN DO IT else you wouldnt be sitting them in the first place.
If you are anything like me by the time I got to the Pearson Vue centre I was lucky if I remembered my name and shook so much I could hardly sign my name and going through the strict process they have - tap down search, no tissue, no watch etc was no help at all!! I was in melt down, but lots of deep breaths and mentally telling myself I can do this I got through and even though I thought I had done pretty bad came out with 91% distinction so was elated.
MENTAL POSITIVE THINKING and we can achieve anything
Good luck
Lisa

Yes, it just said 'pass'. I think the result has to be verified so we will find out the percentage pass rate soon from the ICB

thank you so much, was driving me nuts haha xx

Yep - mine just said PASS...apparently the actually results will my on teh My ICB website tomorrow. And well done to you too :-)
Do you know what happens next, do you need computerised Level 2 to then start working as a book keeper? I've seen that there is a new 2014/15 sylabus on the ICB website which implies you need level 3 too? Do you know anything about that?

Congratulations all, you should be very pleased with yourself. Well done
Jo, yes, to practice you need LII computerised so that you can get Associate Membrship. As you've already started on the 'old' syllabus you can continue on the route you are on as long as exams are passed by 31st March next year. Plenty of time!!
Again, well done everyone.
Kind regards

Thanks Brian - 86% and a merit so pretty chuffed.
Do I have to pass Level 3 manual and computerised by March next year too? I paid for the whole course with Ideal Schools last September?

Hi Jo,
Sorry, I just picked this up following a couple of days off for wedding no's 2 & 3 within a space of a week. Happy occasions though!!
Well done on your exam pass, you have every right to be very pleased with yourself. Re your L3 study, if you finish this by 31st March, great. If not, as your training provider, it's our responsibility to ensure you have a seamless transition onto the new structure. Nothing to worry about
Keep up the good work.
Kind regards
