Hello Members

Can anyone help me, I am trying to keep an accurate record of my time worked for clients,  I am trying to design an excel spreadsheet, to enable me to record the details of my work, i.e bookkeeping, payroll, credit control etc and the hours and minutes worked.  Does anyone use an excel spreadsheet for recording time worked?  Any help, tips or advice would be very much appreciated.

Thank you

Chris

Hi Chris,

I have an excel file that you may find useful.  Let me know your e-mail and I'll send a copy to you, with instructions.  How experienced are you in the use of spreadsheets?

 Hi Roz

Thank you very much for your reply.  My email address is: info@wakefieldbookkeeping.co.uk.  I am quite experienced in Excel, I use various differnet spreadsheets on a daily basis. At the moment, I am not booking all the time I work for clients, out of hours work, phone calls and emails etc. I need a more accurate method of recording my time, I feel I am losing out, and I have found it difficult to design something I can record the hours/minutes that I work and a detailed report of the work I process.

Thanks again Roz, your help is much appreciated.

Regards

Chris

If this helps to add time it exce, it need to be formate as time (h):mm. if you do not put h in brackets time will only be added up to 24 hours.
