Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the cost of a costcos membership is an allowable expense for tax purposes.  My client uses Costco to buy items for business, but no doubt uses it for personal items as well.  However I don't know if HMRC would class any proportion of this membership as an allowable expense?

Thanks for your help Sharon, I have been trying to find information online but there isn't realy anything to help.  I think proportioning it would be the best thing to do like you say.
