Hi there,
Like you, I am fairly new to payroll. I qualified last June and worked as a payroll assistant until April. I loved my job and my employer was lovely but was unable to keep me on due to a fall in the number of payroll clients. I have not had any luck in finding work and many people have suggested going down the self-employment route as well.
To be honest, there are not many resources available either on here or CIPP for newbies which is a shame.
Perhaps we should join forces - you know what they say: two heads is better than one!
