Hi, I just wondered if there is anyone that I could connect with that has experience/expertise in bookkeeping for a fashion retail business? I have a client who currently has a marketing business but he is in the process of starting a fashion retail business receiving investment from a large corporate company. He would like me to do the bookkeeping for his new business but neither of us has any experience in terms of the accounting processes specific to fashion retail. At the moment only samples have been bought but very soon we will need to start recording the wip/inventory and cogs. We have devised a draft chart of accounts but we are keen to speak to someone who might be able to offer some advice/consultancy that could guide us on processes specific to fashion retail. Does anybody have any expertise in this field that would mind me connecting with them?
