Hi,

Does anyone know the structure of the ICB Payroll Lvl 3 Exam?

• Is it timed exam? e.g. you have 1 or 2 hours to complete the test?

• Roughly how many questions are there?

Hey Ashley

Your best best would be to download and attempt a mock. It's been a fair few years since I last sat an ICB exam but found the mocks were very similar to the exam itself

Did the payroll exam last week.

You have 24 hours to submit.

Hi Ashley

You will be given 24 hours to complete the exam and it has both theoretical and practical elements. the practical part of the exam can take up to 3 hours to complete hence the generous time allotted. The pass mark is 85%, I believe 70% of the marks relate to the practical section of the test. 

my advice to you would be to read the textbook in its entirety, practice with a mock exam before attempting the real exam.
