The wait is finally over: we reveal the shortlisted nominees who are in the running to win a Luca Award at this year's Bookkeepers Summit

Luca Awards Shortlists for ICB Students & Members and ICB Training Providers

2018 has been an exceptional year right across the Luca categories. These awards are growing in stature which is evidenced by the very detailed and empassioned endorsements contained in the nominations and supporting documentation submitted. The judges found that a few nominees had underestimated what was needed to make the shortlist, and commented that a brief paragraph in an email just doesn’t cut it!  The judges look forward to reconvening to decide the eventual Luca Award winners from the shortlist.

June Carter, ICB co-founder and Chair of the judging panel commented, 'I’m glad I don’t make the final decision, the nominees have really pulled out all the stops, with some including videos. The Branch and Branch Chair nominations were very strong this year and I personally found it heartwarming to hear just how much the ICB Branch network supports ICB students and members up and down the country. This is what ICB is all about, genuine support and guidance to all.'
The 2018 Luca Awards took place on Monday 26 November at the Radisson Blu Edwardian in Heathrow, London. It was a spectacular night and we already can't wait for next year! The winners are below and congratulations to all nominees and shortlisted finalists!
