Unity IT has also been accredited as an approved provider of the Cyber Essentials Certification.

Bookkeepers are responsible a huge volume of sensitive and confidential data. Bank details, credit information, personal client details - all the sort of data that cyber criminals love to get their hands on.

We've been working with experts Unity IT to accredit their Cyber Essentials Certification process, an assessment which demonstrates the steps your business is taking to protect your own and your client data.

Developed by the National Cyber Security Centre and delivered by IASME, Cyber Essentials is a verified self-assessment. ICB members can complete the assessment themselves - which means they can also receive 1 CPD point - with Unity IT assessing and awarding the certificate. This certification shows your clients that your business prioritises cybersecurity and has measures to reduce attack risks and impacts.

Unity IT also offers an optional guided consultancy service, providing a clear path to certification and simplifying the process.

Trevor Bradfield, Director at Unity IT says "With the increase in cyber security attacks, it is important to take steps to prevent your business from being affected. Cyber Essentials is recognised as being an industry standard for businesses no matter the size, that is proven to reduce risk and increase protection."
