The accounting, finance and bookkeeping communities will spend two days exploring 300+ software and service suppliers, 250+ CPD-accredited seminars, and a host of networking opportunities.

The Bookkeepers Base Camp’ sponsored by Xero is returning for the third year. This year, the dedicated networking space includes the new Bookkeepers Circle Talks where influential bookkeepers will share their stories in intimate 20-minute bitesize sessions.

Visitors will also be able to meet the ICB team at stand 394 and have their questions answered in person, as well as exploring the memberships and qualifications they have on offer.

At the Bookkeepers Theatre, ICB’s very own Ami Copeland, Elizabeth Carter and Vanessa Aradia will be delivering unmissable seminars to help bookkeepers stay ahead.

Bookkeeping is no longer just about keeping books. It is about keeping business on track and becoming the human API behind the economy. In this strategic update, ‘Bookkeepers mean business: Regulation, AI and the power of specialisation’ ICB CEO Ami Copeland shares regulatory insight, AI developments and key findings from ICB’s 2026 State of the Profession research, outlining where the landscape is shifting and where opportunity lies.

A no-nonsense marketing masterclass for accountants & bookkeepers’ with Elizabeth Carter, Head of Marketing at ICB and Callum Macrae, Marketing Director at JE Consulting, will focus on what actually works for practices. The session will leave attendees with practical ideas they can use and a clearer sense of what is worth their effort.

Vanessa Aradia, Head of Learning and Development at ICB will be taking to the stage for ‘Bookkeeping in 2026: The six skills that count’. The seminar will cover the six essentials every modern bookkeeper needs: digital confidence, AI literacy, professional judgement, data accuracy, client communication, and ethical decision-making. Vanessa will also dive into the human skills that make it all work, including adaptability and resilience. Visitors will leave with a clear framework and a practical check list to help focus on what to build next.
