ICB was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Terence (Terry) Ramm FICB. Terry was a well known ICB member and was much respected in his local Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Branch.
Terry joined ICB as a student in 2015 studying with Ideal Schools. He completed all examinations including Level 4 in a year and became a full Member in 2016. He took much pleasure in helping others and mentored several students from the Branch. With his extensive business experience and qualifications, he took on sub-contracting work for those members who did not hold the requisite qualifications, and his services were much in demand.
In 2018 Terry was awarded Fellowship and Terry joined the Advisory Council under chair, Paula Vesey-Smith. Current chair, Kirsty St. John said "I liked working with Terry because I always found him a useful sounding board. He was super fast at doing the work and enabled me to grow my practice by offering that higher level service.
He was a great travel buddy and always had interesting stories to share, his vast experience will be sorely missed.
He was a good mentor and encouraged me and my sister to get those exams despite knowing I would then take the work in-house.
I send best wishes to his family."
ICB will remember Terry has a quiet principled man who used his experience and knowledge for the benefit of others.
ICB sends sincere condolences to Terry’s family.
