19-23 November 2018 saw bookkeepers across the globe celebrating their achievements
Global Bookkeeping Week 2018 was a week where bookkeepers were celebrated for raising the profile of the profession and their dedication and support to small businesses.
The week began with Garry Carter, ICB President and Co-Founder, kicking off the 24-hour global webinar in London. He was joined on the webinar by members across the UK and connected with ICB New Zealand President, Di Crawford-Errington. The baton was passed to ICB Australia, back to the UK and then to ICB USA. A truly global event!
We were also at Accounting Live in Glasgow during Global Bookkeeping Week and we were so pleased to see so many ICB Bookkeepers and Bookkeepers Summit sponsors at our stand!
Sage's David Watson and Rebecca Teale, former Luca Award winner Michelle Smith AICB, and Taxfiler's Paresh Patel
Wednesday 21st November was the day of the global coffee meet-ups and ICB members met up across the country. Meet-ups took place in London, Lincoln, East Sussex, Oxford, Surrey and North Yorkshire. Members who could not attend meet-ups took to social media to share their #RaiseACup photos.
