Do you work hard? Does your employer deserve a shoutout? Are your employees always going the extra mile? Does your business need a good PR opportunity?

Apply online today for the LUCA Awards - the most prestigious awards in the bookkeeping profession. We're looking for this year's best Student, Apprentice, Tutor, Training Provider, Social Media Influencer, New Practice, Small Practice, Large Practice, Employer, Employee or Team, and Branch.

It's free to apply and, if you're shortlisted, you'll receive a free ticket to attend the awards ceremony.

What are the LUCA Awards?

The LUCA Awards are the ‘Oscars’ of the bookkeeping profession and are presented in recognition of the year’s outstanding bookkeepers and the many organisations and software platforms that complement the valuable work that you do. The LUCA Awards themselves are exclusive statuettes of Luca Pacioli, the Cistercian monk who is credited with first documenting the process of double-entry bookkeeping that endures today.

’Pick up the courage and vote for yourself, it’s such a prestigious award and to even be shortlisted is winning in itself!’’

Gemma Griffiths MICB PM.Dip, Employed Bookkeeper of the Year 2019

When and where are the LUCA Awards?

The LUCA Awards 2022 will be taking place at the Park Plaza Hotel Westminster on Monday 7 November. This is where we will have just concluded the in-person day of the Bookkeepers Summit 2022.  All those who have contributed to the bookkeeping profession and helped to raise the profile of bookkeepers will be celebrated.

Take this opportunity to nominate yourself or someone you feel deserves the prestigious recognition of winning a LUCA Award!

Apply now for a LUCA Award

Apply online today and you can go back in to make changes to your application any time up until the deadline date of 31 August. All nominations will be considered by a panel of judges and the details of the five shortlisted nominees in each category will be released in October.

All shortlisted nominees receive a free ticket to the ceremony, therefore we would suggest holding off on purchasing LUCA Awards tickets until we have released the shortlist. Don't worry, we'll make sure you get a seat at the awards, no matter what, and LUCA tickets are not subject to early bird rates so there's no risk of losing out on any savings.

Michelle Smith

"People are normally reluctant to nominate themselves as they feel they aren’t good enough or in with a chance, but you’ve got put yourself out there. The application process for a Luca award is really good for your business mindset and helps remind you why you went into business in the first place. The PR of it is also hugely significant! You don’t even need to win the award to take advantage of that opportunity.’’
