Mehul Dave MICB PM.Dip started his journey at Heathrow Airport and now works for Kayan Aviation while also running an ICB practice.
Mehul Dave’s interest in finance started back when he was a teenager in India, and he pursued this by completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and also Cost Accountant Level 2 before moving to the UK.
His first job in accounts in the UK was as a Finance Assistant located at Heathrow Airport back in 2014. He knew he wanted to undertake further qualifications and after researching the options, chose ICB as the best value option and because of the flexibility offered.
Like many others, the start of the Covid 19 lockdown was a catalyst for Mehul to kickstart his studying and he achieved success with Level 3, becoming a Full Member of ICB in June 2020.
Since coming into ICB membership Mehul has received his Practice Licence and has taken on a few clients, helping make a difference to those small businesses.
An active member of the ICB community, Mehul regularly attends Branch Meetings, the Inspire Tour and the Bookkeepers Summit. He particularly enjoys ICB’s regular webinars as “every new webinar gives new ideas on how to run my practice.”
What next?
Mehul’s journey with bookkeeping is continuing with advanced Level 4 Qualifications in SATR and BI which he is self-studying and determined to achieve alongside his other commitments and employment.
