At Xero, we know that bookkeepers are often the unsung heroes of small business. You’re behind the scenes keeping the ship steady, while your clients can get on with what they’re good at.

To recognise your hard work, celebrate the impact you have on the world of small business and make sure you’re getting the most out of Xero, we’re dedicating February as ‘Bookkeeper’s Month’. Each week we’ll be hosting a webinar focusing on a different aspect of bookkeeping in Xero. As well as our own experts, you’ll get to meet and hear from three current Xero bookkeeping partners – there’s a competition and giveaways too.

Sue Bruland, MD of Open Counting House Ltd. will be joining us to talk about getting started with Xero. She loves Xero because “it’s software with longevity for the future”.

Vip Patel, Founder of Accountsforme, has tips and tricks for making everyday tasks easier to share, as well as gems that you might think only apply to bigger practices but work for you. “Xero is disruptive and changed the way people do bookkeeping”, he says.

Emma Fox, MD at Fresh Financials, plans to take you on a journey of Xero’s app ecosystem showing you where an add-on can make life easier for you and your clients. She encourages bookkeepers to ‘flip the concept of bookkeeping on its head and think about an entirely different way of working”.

Our very own Xero marketers, Noori Kanji and Rebekah Rai, will be stepping away from ‘what you can do with Xero’ and offering advice on how to market yourself and your practice.
