ICB is advising a change to HMRC’s MTD IT ‘Add your client authorisations for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax’ guidance.
This guidance details that it refers to adding client authorisations to your Agent Services Account for MTD ITSA and checking which authorisations already been added.
The ‘Add your authorisations to your Agent Services Account’ section has been updated to clarify that adding existing client authorisations from your HMRC online services account will authorise you as a main agent for these clients. Further, a link has been added for guidance on what main and supporting agents can do.
