Members and Students are invited to attend the Essex Branch meeting.
With the January 31st deadline for online submissions looming the Continuing Professional Development topic for the meeting will be Self-Assessment. There will be a group Q&A session, which will give you the opportunity to ask all those niggling questions on Self-Assessment.
After, to help with our discussion, we will also have the pleasure of welcoming, Alan Brown, Managing Director of Jamesons – Chartered Accountants, Auditors & Business Advisers. Alan will be sharing his wealth of knowledge and anecdotal experience. Once Alan has finished his presentation there will be ample opportunity to ask questions.
A particular focus of the Essex Branch is to embrace the ICB’s ‘Member Buddy Program’. This is an informal program where members can offer their help and others can seek it. It is ideal for students who need help and for more experienced bookkeepers who want to act as coaches and mentors. At this meeting we aim to get our first buddy partnerships up and running!
Two of our very own Branch members will be delivering short presentations before we close the meeting with the ever-exciting Essex Branch raffle.
Essex Branch meetings are a great opportunity to build our Essex Branch community and have the chance for personal and business networking.
The Western Homes Community Stadium is a fantastic venue, held at the new Colchester United Football ground - this can be easily accessed directly off the A12 at junction 28.
Members meetings are organised for members by members.
