The Oscars of the bookkeeping world, the annual ICB LUCA Awards recognise outstanding achievement in the bookkeeping profession and reveal the favourite software and apps of the nation's bookkeepers.

The 2026 awards return to London on Monday 16 November and entries are open until 3 July.

The Bookkeeper Awards 

The Bookkeeper Awards are open to ICB members who are able to enter a variety of categories by answering a few short questions. 

Whether you are just starting your journey as a bookkeepers (student of the year), have recently set up your practice (new practice) or have an established business (small or large practice) there is room for you to be recognised. We also have awards that recognise payroll professionals, great client service and influential members of the community. 

The entries are reviewed and judged by an independent panel of industry experts. This year, we have introduced a new category: Bookkeeping Innovator of the Year — giving you even more chances to win!

The Vendor Awards

Bookkeepers thrive thanks to our brilliant service providers. Software vendors and training providers are an essential part of bookkeeper life – and the ICB Vendor awards recognise excellence, innovation and commitment to our community. Vendors nominate themselves in any of the categories and the software awards are then voted for by bookkeeper members.
