For Bookkeepers
We need to know the name of the Financial Secretary to the Treasury (FST), as this is the person responsible for the UK tax system, including HMRC and tax administration. Also the Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury (EST) who works with colleagues in the Treasury and supports the Chancellor, plus the appointment of a Minister for Pensions.
We should also be looking for any announcements made by the Secretaries of State for the devolved nations:
- Hilary Benn MP (Northern Ireland)
- Ian Murray MP (Scotland)
- Jo Stevens MP (Wales)
