Training

On-the-job learning at the employer's normal place of work. Whilst working, the apprentice develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours of a Payroll Administrator 

 

20% off-the-job training
Unlike some other apprenticeships, there are no compulsory qualifications to be completed during training

Gateway

The employer, training provider and apprentice meet to review progress and decide
if the apprentice is ready for End-Point Assessment

End-Point Assessment (EPA)

The EPA consists of three assessments which ICB delivers
online and on-demand throughout the year

Knowledge Test

 Professional Discussion underpinned by Portfolio

Project Report with Question & Answer session

Remote invigilation

1 hour one-to-one discussion based on the portfolio of evidence

Via Teams or Zoom etc

Recorded

20 minute one-to-one Q&A session based on the project output


Upon successful completion of the EPA, the apprentice is awarded the

Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship

and 
can apply to join ICB as a Payroll Agent, with full exemptions from ICB’s exams.
